The exit poll figures revealed for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 proved wrong. Nevertheless, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Narendra Modi emerged as the largest party, although it is not at 400+ but it is decided to win 240+ seats. India coalition party has won 230+ seats more than expected and the Congress party is considering it, a big victory while they are far away from forming a Government.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi and President Mallikarjun Kharge held a press conference. Starting the press conference, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that this is a moral defeat of Modi. He said that the public voted on issues like inflation and unemployment. Kharge said that people had understood that if BJP won more than 400 seats, their next attack would be on the Constitution.
Rahul Gandhi said this election was not fought against any political party. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah captured agencies and intimidated them. The BJP put Chief Ministers in jail. We respected the members of India Block and fought the elections together. Congress has given a new vision to the country.
In an another Press Conference The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi said that “the mandate given to us by the people strengthens our Party. The whole opposition party altogether could not win as many seats as BJP won, even after being united in this Lok Sabha election.”

Furthermore, in his speech to BJP workers at the party headquarters, Modi said a third-consecutive victory is “remarkable” as no party has done so since 1962. He said, “This is the victory of democracy. This is victory of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’. It is a victory of 140 crore people…We are grateful to the people for retaining their faith on NDA.”
Modi further hailed the Odisha assembly election results and said it was the first time that a BJP’s CM would serve in “Maha Prabhu’s Land” reference to Hindu deity Lord Jagannath. Prime Minister Modi also congratulated Chandrababu Naidu on the resounding performance of the TDP-led NDA in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Moreover, concluding with outlining the agenda for the third term, Narendra Modi said, “To make India world’s third-biggest economy, the NDA government will leave no stone unturned. We will initiate new reform measures in the NDA’s third term to propel the economy.”
