Kalki 2898 AD is an Indian mythical science-fiction action movie. The story follows the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is prophesied to arrive on a white horse, signaling the end of the Kali Yuga. In the year 2898 AD, Lord Vishnu is assured to be born as the tenth and final avatar, Kalki, signaling a new era.
They have released it in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. They have plans to release it later in English as well. The story is inspired by Hindu scriptures and many consider it the most expensive Indian film ever made. Kalki 2898 AD was made on a huge budget of Rs 600 crore.

South’s well-known director Nag Ashwin has released Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. Fans of all these stars eagerly awaited this film.
Box Office Bonanza
In KALKI 2898 AD has ended the long-running box office drought and has earned record breaks at the box office on the first day itself. Rs 191.5 crore from its worldwide ticket sales on day one, the producers officially confirmed on Friday that the film earned.
Ticking booking sites crashed due to a surge in advance bookings of Kalki 2898 AD in Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. According to Secnilk, the film has sold more than 2 million advance tickets across India in all languages.
Movie Plot
The film starts off a bit slow in the first half and takes time to build up. After watching the decent first half, you may not have high expectations for the movie. However, the movie takes a huge turn after the interval. In the second half, the movie goes to a totally different level and going meet the huge expectations. The action sequences and interesting plots will keep you very much interested in the second half of the movie.
The Director “Nag Ashwin”
Nag Ashwin directed Mahanati, a fantastic film. So, we had high expectations for this film, and we have to say that he surpassed them. Ashwin has definitely directed one of the best films in Indian cinema.
The last phase of the movie will make you clap and whistle in the theatre, superb screenplay, loud VFX, mythological characters, mythological events and much more.
Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika & Prabhas – Astonishing Performances
In performances, Big B delivers an amazing role that truly reflects his status as Megastar. Watching him in action as the angry man is a real treat. Prabhas, an action star, but the director casts him in comedy roles. When the whole atmosphere is serious, it is unclear in which world Prabhas is being portrayed.
Kamal Haasan cameos in the film, and now, we look forward to seeing him more in the sequel. Saswata Chatterjee excels as the antagonist, and Shobana also makes a strong impression. Disha Patani looks good even she has not much to do.
Multiple cameos played in the film, and all of them deliver very good performances. A little spoiler, Ram Gopal Varma makes a hilarious cameo appearance.
