Neeraj Chopra (Javelin Superstar)
Neeraj Chopra, a star in the javelin, will try to become the first Indian athlete to win two gold medals in the Olympics.
On June 18, Chopra participated in the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland. He won the gold medal at that event with a best throw of 85.97 meters. However, his personal best is 89.94 meters.
P. V. Sindhu (Badminton)
In Germany, badminton Superstar Sindhu is working out hard with her team coach Agus Dwi Santoso. Recently, she has participated in Indonesia Open.
She is one of India’s best hopes for a medal and might be winning in Paris to become India’s most successful Olympian in Paris Olympic.
Vinesh Phogat (Wrestler)
Phogat another hopes to get an Olympic Gold by herself in Paris Olympic 2024. She requested assistance from the Sports Ministry on Tuesday to expedite her visa application. She gets her visa a few hours later.
Phogat is travelling to France for a 20-day training period in preparation for the Olympics. In June, she participated in the Budapest Ranking series for the last time.
Nikhat Zareen (Boxer)
Nikhat, who has won the world title twice before, will try to win more in Paris, Olympic debut few days later.
Nikhat and five other boxers are currently training for a month at the Olympic Centre in Saarbrucken, Germany. She will remain there until the 22nd of July before traveling to Paris.
Mirabai Chanu
After winning a silver medal in Tokyo for her scintillating performance, Mirabai wants to return to the Olympic podium in Paris. Since her Tokyo victory, Mirabai’s journey has not been easy because she has been injured.
Nonetheless, she is one of the strong favorites in her category because she believes she can reach the podium if she lifts 200-210 kilograms in Paris Olympic 2024.
Mirabai Chanu is working out hard at the NIS Patiala, and next week she is traveling to France to get used to the environment before the big competition.
Sift Kaur Samra (50m Shooter)
After a stellar performance during the four stages of the Olympic selection trials. Sift Kaur, who won gold at the Asian Games was selected for the Paris squad in the women’s 50-meter rifle 3 positions. One of the great hopes for medal.
Men’s Hockey Team
The final group that will go to Paris has recently announced and the head coach is Craig Fulton. Harmanpreet Singh is leading the team, as expected, and PR Sreejesh will be the only goalkeeper.
The team is training right now in Bengaluru and will soon fly to Switzerland for a camp to help the team bond.
