Argentina in Final

Argentina defeated Canada 2-0 in the semi-finals.  Lionel Messi also scored in this match for defending Champion Argentina. With this, Messi has scored 109 goals. Argentina won this victory in its independent day. Argentina in Final will face the winning team of Uruguay vs. Colombia i.e. Colombia, who won the 2nd Semifinal.

On Monday, Argentina in final already, will face off the second semi-final winner (Uruguay vs. Colombia) and they will try to win a record 16th Copa America title. However, Colombia defeated Uruguay by 1-0 to secure their birth to play with Argentina.

Canada will play for 3rd position against the losing team in the semi-final match at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on July 13, 2024.

This is Argentina’s 4th final in the last 5 editions of the tournament. Argentina will play the final of the tournament on July 15, 2024 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

While writing this blog, despite playing the second half with only ten men, Colombia defeated Uruguay 1-0 in the Copa America semi-final, setting up a title decider against defending champions Argentina.
